Our Events Portfolio
As part of our brand and marketing advisory, Stradbroke offers sponsorhip opportunities in the Modern Arts: filmmaking, music, and cultural gatherings that congregate under an innovative ethos.
The British Pavillion Tent at the Cannes Film Festival 2006
In the film industry, for example, we have offered our clients big flagship events such as the The Times BFI London Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival as well as niche ones, such as the British Animation Awards (the BAAs), a key industry event in Europe for the animation medium.
We recommend music and film as alternative cultural events to engage with consumers because they tend to attract an audience that is profiled as the "Agents of Change".
George Lucas and Darth Vader attend the 58th Cannes Festival (2008)
These audiences are the hubs, the people that lead the way of adoption towards mainstream media, which in our days is very much audiovisual. The profile of such individuals tends to show a person that is pegged to whatever is emerging and thrives to explore new things.
The British Pub at the back of the Grand (Cannes Film Festival 2007)
Good examples of the digitalisation of these industries where Stradbroke has been involved in producing and promoting have been Power to the Pixel, a must-attend industry event in the film industry to understand digital distribution and how to harness the power of the web for filmmaking purposes, and NoWax, one of the world's first mp3 deejaying evenings where the crowd-sourcing model allowed the audience to participate.
Planning how to have your brand in alignment with experiential brands is how you can bring a sensorial depth to your market perception at consumer level. We also plan for you the after-event follow-up. This is the fundamental point of our advisory, to keep being memorable in the audience's subconscious.
Co-Sponsoring
We co-sponsor events that are backed by government agencies as well as industry bodies, international cultural centres and relevant media partners.
In the UK we work closely with the British Council, Skillset, UK Film Council, the London Development Agency, Film London and the Mayor of London funding arm as well as the Soho House group, The Hospital Club, the Curzon Cinemas and the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts).
We ensure our clients sponsor not just the right event but they do so alongside the right brands.
Fund-raising for Sponsorship
Many events organisers outsource to Stradbroke the fund-raising side of their sponsorship programmes.
Stradbroke manages and co-ordinates the process, brings organisations that fund the event as sponsors in cash or kind and ensures that the budgets required are met. If you want to discuss with us how we can help you find the right money in sponsorship and ensure that you associate your event with the right sponsors, please contact us at sponsorship@stradbrokeadvisors.com
